Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about our kids’ bike lessons and programs.

What age can my child start lessons?

Our balance bike track begins at ages 3–4 with short sessions and play-based drills. Pedal readiness typically starts at 5–7 when coordination and leg strength support pedaling and braking.

Do you provide bikes or helmets?

We ask families to bring a properly sized bike and a certified helmet. Coaches perform a fit and safety check every session and can suggest adjustments. We do not rent equipment on-site.

How do you keep kids safe during lessons?

We set clear zones, use progressive low-speed drills, maintain ratios that support supervision, and require helmets. Staff hold first-aid certifications and follow incident reporting procedures.

What if my child feels anxious or hesitant?

We invite choice and control. Kids can observe a drill first, try a simpler version, or practice with a coach. Parents get calming scripts and at-home activities to reinforce progress gently.

Can I reschedule a session?

Yes. You may reschedule up to 24 hours before a session using your confirmation email link. Late changes are subject to availability and may incur a fee to cover staffing.

Are online lessons effective?

For early balance and parent coaching, yes. We demonstrate setups, guide drills, and give feedback on video. Street-riding skills are taught in person for safety and supervision.

How many lessons until my child pedals independently?

It varies. Some children pedal within a few sessions; others need more time with balance and braking first. We never guarantee timelines and focus instead on steady, individualized progress.

What is your weather policy?

We run in light, safe conditions and postpone for heavy rain, lightning, or high winds. Cancellations are communicated by email and SMS with options to reschedule.

Do you offer group or private classes?

We offer both. Group classes create a fun social environment while private lessons provide one-on-one attention for focused skill building.
